1. BIKEWORKS
我们透过各式各样的社群单车计划来履行我们的使命，其中包含为那些残障人士提供就业机会、全面的骑行能力培养、单车的循环再造与回收以及校园骑行训练等等。作为一家企业，我们还为消费者以及组织提供单车服务。我们的商店为初学者甚至是专业人士提供全方位的维修服务，全新的以及翻新改造的单车选购以及单车的保养课程。

We deliver our mission through a variety of community cycling programmes including employability for disadvantaged groups, all ability cycling, bicycle ReUse &Recycling, schools cycle training and much more. As a business, we provide cycling services to both consumers and organizations.
Our stores offer a full range of repair services, sale of new and refurbished bikes and cycle maintenance courses from beginner to professional level.
What is the social impact of your business?
The business runs around cycling and its social consequences. From employability to enabling cycling for everyone, regardless of age or disability, to recycling of the bike parts.
What do you want to achieve by being part of Impact Hub Scaling?
We attended a training session on social franchising and we are developing and testing a training programme with a view to franchising it internationally later.
2. “Ivan Patzaichin – Mila 23”Association

The ”Ivan Patzaichin – Mila 23” Association develops sustainable solutions to promote local development projects and eco-tourism, taking on the mission of assisting the Delta and its inhabitants to get the attention they deserve, allowing them to preserve their traditions and protect a pristine habitat. The core product of the social entrepreneurship initiative is slow-tourism in the Danube Delta, especially pescatourism, related to local fishing traditions and way of life. Travelers experience the Delta from a new perspective, by living and eating locally and enjoying nature while being observers or participants in the daily activities of fishermen.
What is the social impact of your business?
The ”Ivan Patzaichin – Mila 23” Association support the inhabitants of the Danube Delta to preserve and promote their traditions, as well as understanding that nature is more valuable for their community as a preserved touristic attraction than a source of food and materials.
What do you want to achieve by being part of Impact Hub Scaling?
We want to develop an integrated ecotourism package for the Danube Delta, built on products, services and infrastructure for bird-watching, gastronomy trail, pescatourism and rent-a-boat facilities to support the sustainable development of communities joining over 2200 people. We also want to design and implement an international marketing strategy for attracting responsible tourists to Danube Delta rural communities.
3. Alturista

We are a responsible travel agency which understands that tourism is a powerful industry, able to transform society. We want to scale to find partners in other countries with our same philosophy to extend our offer and improve our service.

At Alturista we want each journey to contribute to the positive development that tourism can bring about. 4. OrtiAlti

4. OrtiAlti
OrtiAlti realises orchards on flat roofs of urban buildings, through a collaborative methodology. We employ social enterprises of gardeners for the realisation works and we empower communities of users, by teaching them how to cultivate their orchards. Our vision, is to create a network of rooftop orchards, able to improve the urban environment and make the produce circulate. For this reason, we believe that our model could have a stronger social impact by being scaled in other cities.
What is the social impact of your business?
In front of the urgent challenges that our cities are currently facing – population growth, climate change, depletion of natural resources, economic recession, social conflicts – we need strategies to regenerate the urban and social fabric through sustainable models and citizens inclusion. OrtiAlti realizes community orchards on flat roofs, that revitalize the urban environment (-30% energy demand in winter, -75% in summer; -2°C in the area; +35%rain absorbed) , and produce food for the city.
What do you want to achieve by being part of Impact Hub Scaling?
After 1 year dedicated to work on our first business model, to build our network of partners and to promote OrtiAlti, we are today realizing our pilot over a restaurant in Turin and planning an ortoal to over a new Carrefour mall nearby Turin. We now need to define our market entry strategy and we need support to find industrial partners, like agri-food industry groups or food chain stores. Impact Hub Scaling program could be a good opportunity to finalize our business model, scaling it up to a franchising model.
5. BGOOD

5. BGOOD
Bgood is a web community designed to inspire and incentivize people to change little things in their daily lives (recycling waste, saving energy etc.) or make bigger commitments like donating blood or teaching a migrant child your mother tongue. For every task a user fulfills, she/he receives impact points (good.coins). Collected good.coins can be used to buy different rewards (e.g. movie/theatre tickets, lunch vouchers,…) or donated to different social or ecological projects. Once enough good.coins have been crowd-donated the project is financed by our sponsors/partner companies.
Our mission is to motivate people to change their behavior and switch to a sustainable lifestyle. To reach as many people as possible we aim to build bgood as a highly scalable solution that we want to scale to 31 cities in 9 countries within the next 5 years to maximize our impact.
What is the social impact of your business?
Our impact is that we unleash the impact potential of many individuals by motivating them and showing them that every action – no matter how small it is –counts and is part of the solution to problems like climate change or poverty. We do this by giving them information about what they can do and make impact tangible as we measure it for them. Last we allow our users to double their impact by investing their points in projects (e.g. reforestation, habitat conservation,..) that our sponsors will financially support once enough coins have been donated.
What do you want to achieve by being part of Impact Hub Scaling?
We are looking for local entrepreneurial minded people across European capital cities who want to bring bgood to their city. Since scaling within and outside the EU requires a lot of knowledge about scaling in general, building the optimal legal structure for an international business and finding international partners we are also looking for experienced individuals who can mentor and advise us through this process.
6. ACCESSIBLE TRAVEL

Accessible Travel Netherlands offers accessible tourism services in the Netherlands for visitors with disabilities from abroad. We want to grow the business, so we can encourage and enable more people to travel and improve the opportunities for people to enjoy tourism and traveling.
What is the social impact of your business?
By organizing accessible holidays, we do not only enable people to travel, we also raise awareness about the need for accessibility amongst all stakeholders within the tourism industry.
What do you want to achieve by being part of Impact Hub Scaling?
We want more people in more countries to become familiar with Accessible Travel Netherlands in order to enable more people to enjoy a holiday and as a result continue to raise awareness amongst stakeholders and create new or improved tourism opportunities.
