Impact Hub's ecosystem has helped to incubate 100 entrepreneurial teams around the world and has made a difference in every corner of the world. In order to let everyone know more about them, Impact Hub Shanghai sorts and organizes a series of incubation cases, and expects more people to participate in this social impact movement.
What I shared with you is the innovative model of “education”, which provides a platform or curriculum to give children the opportunity to receive more equal educational opportunities and the ability they need in the future.

We are an educational platform for learning games, which can be used in school or at home to play together with your friends. The games are developed by professional serious game developers and the content can be implemented in the games by the teachers to fulfil the needs of each student separately. Because of this we can scale into all other countries, just by implementing the local language into the platform by publishers of teachers.
What is the social impact of your business?
We aim to make learning free and personalized for everyone, everywhere.
What do you want to achieve by being part of Impact Hub Scaling?
Scaleinto other European countries with highly scalable languages like Spain, France, UK, Portugal. Once we support languages such as Spanish, French, English and Portuguese, we can reach a significant part of global learners, including the entirety of Latin America, North America and parts of Sub-Saharan Africa.
2. FUNDACIÓN SANDERS

2. FUNDACIÓN SANDERS
Fundación Sanders tackles the problem of poor academic performance and low job employability of children in Madrid at risk of exclusion by developing a digital curriculum that teaches social and emotional learning skills. These skills have been proven to improve academic performance and are critical skills needed in the workplace. We want to scale our program so that we can impact the lives of at least 1,000 more kids each year until we impact the entire community of children at risk of exclusion.
What is the social impact of your business?
Our digital curriculum has been implemented in eight after school centers in Madrid, and we impact the lives of 339 children and their families.
What do you want to achieve by being part of Impact Hub Scaling?
We are extremely interested in the opportunity to have an individualized program that helps us to identify and prioritize the key tasks required for us to scale our impact. We value the opportunity to be assisted by a team of knowledgeable mentors that understand how to maximize a social value chain and develop a thorough understanding of project stakeholders.
We also value the potential of connecting with other Impact Scaling participants to get their morale support and share their experiences throughout the program. Finally, we’re looking for new collaboration opportunities through greater visibility and exposure with Hub members across Europe. We have barely scratched the surface of potential partnerships in Madrid, and have already benefitted greatly.
3. PROVERSITY

Proversity works with local enterprises, governments and educational institutions to create and develop Digital Universities, populated with professional development courses delivered directly from employers. We want to scale in order to increase our impact in delivering free online quality education directly from employers, teaching the skills that are missing in today’s academic curricula.
What is the social impact of your business?
Proversity aims to provide free online education delivered directly by employers, establish a process where every learner gets up skilled as part of their application and create a process where the success of an application is based on ability, not background.
What do you want to achieve by being part of Impact Hub Scaling?
As part of the Impact Hub Scaling Program, we hope to provide free training to talent as part of their job application and improve the situation in the labour market by enhancing the communication between employers and job seekers. From a business perspective, we are piloting our first Spanish courses in Spain as well as Chile and are targeting the Spanish speaking community in the States as well.
4. CODECLUB

4. CODECLUB
Code Club’s mission is to give every child in the world the chance to learn to code by providing project materials and a volunteering framework that supports the running of after-school coding clubs. We want to scale our model to other countries to tackle the digital divide and, as an enabler of vital change in computer science education, give more children the chance to learn to code.
What is the social impact of your business?
We want to help to bridge the digital divide between technologically advanced communities and those who are disadvantaged in not having access to technology education. Every child should have the opportunity to learn how to code for free.
What do you want to achieve by being part of Impact Hub Scaling?
We want to set up a structure that helps us scale faster and in a more efficient way, so we can reach more children all around the world. We also want to tap into the knowledge of the Impact Hub network and other social enterprises participating in the programme, and avoid reinventing the wheel.

Equal Education is a tuition service for children looked after. In the past year we have expanded to 100 tutors and half the London Boroughs. After this successful pilot, we wish take our offering across the country and internationally.
What is the social impact of your business?
Improving educational attainment and outcomes for Looked After Children.
What do you want to achieve by being part of Impact Hub Scaling?
I wish to learn from the experience of others. I’m curious to how to further develop the reach of Equal Education to extend our work and results with more children. I am intrigued to discover local expertise over a larger scale and incorporate that into Equal Education.
6. FRIENDY & CO. AB

Children need adults who understand them and can help them to put their feelings into words to help them cope. Therefore, We have developed Friendy, a doll with six different emotional expressions. We have created an educational concept with tools such as an app, a CD of mental training and an album with songs for each feeling.
Through lectures and training, we spread knowledge about children’s emotions and how we can become better at responding to them. We have received a great response from preschools in Sweden and Norway and now we want to spread the concept to other countries.
What is the social impact of your business?
Friendy makes it both easy and fun to talk about feelings and to develop self-control. With Friendy we want to prevent mental illness and strengthen the relationship skills of both children and adults. Our educational model ranges from self-knowledge and self-esteem, empathy and communication to problem and conflict management, skills we all need to live a happy and successful life.
What do you want to achieve by being part of Impact Hub Scaling?
I want to create global awareness of how important it is that we help children to verbalize their feelings and develop self-esteem. I see it as a long-term work for both peace and mental health.
